1911: Edendale, a suburb near downtown Los Angeles, known now as Echo Park, was home to the new art form, motion pictures. Bohemians, “Reds”, artists, writers, and healers, congregated here, and it became known as “Red Hill.” New ideas and creativity flourished in cultural salons. A century later, in 2011, the creative surge taking place in Echo Park has been compared to what happened in Paris in the 1920s. Honoring that spirit Pilates & Arts opens it’s doors to the community. We celebrate all arts, movement, healing, audio, visual.

Located in the heart of Echo Park, the 800 square foot studio is equipped with Balanced Body state-of-the-art Pilates studio reformers and reformer-tower combo, springboards, small barrels, and a plethora of Pilates props. Pilates & Arts ~ Echo Park is a relaxing oasis with airy 18′ open rafter ceilings, skylights and ceiling fans. Experience a mini-holiday from the L.A. rush every time you enter the studio.
