NOTES FROM THE HEART OF ITALY MAY 2024 HOLIDAY:

Loved our lodgings. In Florence at Antica Torre Tornabuoni 1 and in Umbria at Villa Torre Santa Lucia. Wowed by visit to The Academy Museum to view the statue of David in person; for Tannis this was a 3rd viewing of this masterpiece. The tour of Perugia, the capitol of Umbria engaged us mind, body and spirit. There are layers of history to explore in Perugia: Etruscan to Roman to the present. Famed for chocolate production we consumed some of the best hand crafted delicacies we’ve ever tasted. And we learning a lot during our visits to the world famous weavers museum and and stained glass studio. We learned to cook 3 kinds of pasta - and ate it - along with many other delicious meals - enhanced by wine tastings. We had a very special private wine tasting at a vineyard in Umbria not usually opened to the public. Plus a wine tasting in a castle! With all the eating and drinking it’s a good thing we walked the winding streets of Florence and the hill towns of Tuscany and Umbria. Oh, and we did relax at the Villa, taking in spectacular sunsets over Lake Trasimeno. Expect future Italian holidays to include immersion time at Ville Torre Santa Lucia. It’s a very special place. GROUP REFORMER CLASSES: $40 Per STUDENT. 3 to 4 students, mixed level. Wednesdays and Fridays 3:30 - 4:30 PM. Sundays 1:00 PM.
PRIVATES AND DUOS BY APPOINTMENT. Privates: $100.00 a session. Discount if you purchase a series. Duos $150.00 for 2 students. Discount if you purchase a series.
In home or office house calls available, and ZOOM instruction too. Rate varies determined by travel time.
